LOL! How entertaining to see it from YOUR point of view. I have to admit, the penguin/oldwoman thing was HILARIOUS. As I was reading though, I was like: that's so not nice of him! I hope you help her put on her shoes and make sure her shoes are matching! LOL! I'm so excited for the two of youuu! What an amazing experience!
What a sweet husband to go on all those craving runs! My husband had to tie my shoes for me when I was pregnant because I couldn't bend over. Do you have a name picked out yet?
This is such a wondrous time. I love having the baby around, but there are things about pregnancy that I look back upon fondly.
I first learned what unconditional love is. I've never met this person, I have no idea what she looks like, and have no clue what her personality is like. Yet, I already knew I loved this little person.
My wife had the cravings too, but not nearly as frequent and on clockwork. She's always been a moderate eater, and didn't change much during pregnancy. The only difference is now, she'll share the Southwest Eggrolls from Chili's instead of hogging all of them.
Aubree - Oh how could I forget about the shoes! Yes, she's at the point now where she can't bend over to put on her shoes or socks. So I'm now officially on feet duty! As for making sure her shoes match, yeah I do that... sometimes! O:-) But she doesn't know that because she can't see all the way down to her feet! So shhh keep it a secret! ;-)
Tammy - Like I told Aubree, I put on her shoes for her but I don't make sure they match all the time! Shhh, you're in on the secret too! And yes, we've picked out a name: Jayden! We haven't decided upon a middle name yet. I guess we better decide on one soon since he'll be busting his way out into this world in just 2 months!
Elliott - You explained EXACTLY how I feel! I love this person so much, and I haven't even met him yet! LOL @ the Southwest Eggrolls thing! With Mommy, it's the buffalo wings from Applebee's! We always order buffalo wings as an appetizer, and we've always split it between the two of us in the past. Now when we order the buffalo wings, I'll be lucky if I get ONE wing!
Whitney - Yup, men don't want to admit it, but pregnancies leave us in total awe! Don't tell anyone I told you though, I might get kicked out the Man Club! :-D

Thanks for taking time to visit my little blog in the midst of the party! I couldn't help but browse around, this is such a neat blog and I love the idea. This one is awesome, it brings back fond memories of my own hubby making midnight runs to find teriyaki chicken and oatmeal cookies. There were no lengths that man wouldn't go through to get me what I needed, and sounds like you're much the same. I love it!
You mentioned you guys plan on doing the natural parenting, I'm so happy to hear that! I didn't know anything about it when I had my first, but when the second came along I was fully onboard. Not sure if you've ever been, but there's a great resource called Mothering Dot Commune, which is a huge online, natural parenting forum. It's been my saving grace when I have those middle of the night questions about a breastfeeding problem or I'm wondering why I'm having a problem with one of my cloth diapers. Tawny - Teriyaki chicken and oatmeal cookies, what a delicious combination! I can't even begin to tell you how much Mommy LOVES oatmeal EVERYTHING! She used to go through a box of oatmeal cookies every day earlier in her pregnancy, but now she just makes them herself. And she washes every single one of them down with oatmeal shakes! Then every morning she makes herself a bowl of.... wait for it..... OATMEAL! She looooooves oatmeal! And don't even get me started on teriyaki chicken! I'll just say that you don't want to be around her when she gets within vicinity of a Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki sub from Subway! Thanks so much for letting us know about the forum! We'll definitely be checking it out! And thanks even more for adding our button to your blog! We appreciate the love!

All right now Daddy, you know you're wrong for talking about the penguin waddle and the 2 1/2 hours to turn to the other side! This comes from a preggie mommy getting ready to bust in 8 days! You should be glad Sheena craves cheap food items. I craved steak and lobster last week, Dove bars this weekend, today is Chic-fil-A!! My hubby needs a PT job just to feed me! You seem to be so loving and supportive of your girl and it means so much to her (I know!!) I am so excited for you both and wish you all the best for baby Jayden!

Sheliza - Oh no! Do NOT give Mommy any more food ideas!!! I'm going to have to start taking out loans just to feed her! And wow, 8 days! I know this is a very exciting time for you! I know once it gets that close for us, I'm gonna be going crazy! She can pop at any time!!!
